  I could not have asked for a better experience. We purchased a short sale that had the most complicated issues (multiple banks, tax issues, short escrow, etc.) and with Ryan's knowledge and expertise we were able to secure the purchase before the property foreclosed. We were limited on time due to a possible foreclosure, and securing a loan in such a short time was looking extremely difficult. If it wasn't for Ryan working on my loan around the clock we would not have closed on time.

Ryan was referred to me by coworkers. I was originally working with my former loan officer, which I had used three times prior. That Loan officer dropped the ball on me at the worst possible time. He flat out told me that he could not do it because he was "Too busy" for me and also could not recommend a loan officer to help his 3 time client. I was extremely disappointed that we were going to lose out on our dream home.

  I recently refinanced with Ryan; he was extremely attentive, and answered every question I had. This wasn't my first refi, but it was my first refi with the VA. Ryan was extremely knowledgeable with working with the VA and made it a smooth and easy experience (the VA wanted WAY more info than a traditional refi lender!).   Very happy with my experience with working with Ryan. I didn't have any experience with buying real estate or the mortgage process. Finally found a place that fit our needs. The seller that was moving and looking to close fast. Ryan was great at communicating to me what needed to be done and when. He was always available to answer questions and keep me informed on the stuff I wasn't familiar with. The process was smooth and I will definitely stick with Ryan if I get the chance to purchase real estate again.

  First time home buyer here. I'm very meticulous and scrutinize everything, especially with the rising housing prices in San Diego every penny counted. My wife and I interviewed with 4 mortgage companies and then Ryan as the only broker to see what they could do for rates, closing costs, how personable they were ect. We asked Ryan specifically because several of my coworkers either got their first loan through him, or refinanced with him and literally have said, "We won't use anyone else again."

Here are bullet points of what he did for us
1) Of all the mortgage companies and him, he always had the best rates (0.125 or more lower)
2) No BS, he was upfront on everything and thoroughly explained what to expect and why
3) He delivered better than what we were expecting (rates, closing costs, time of closing)
4) Very accessible, he was available "off hours"
5) Very patient, we had many questions and let him know we were shopping around but he was still there for us even before we signed with him
6) Advocate, he called our realtor and the seller on our behalf, making sure they knew we were solid bets as buyers
7) He tailors your loan to what you ask for
8) He keeps working even after you close, He is going to watch our loan so we can refinance in the future and drop our LPMI and lower our mortgage when we can ( i think it's 20% of the loan)

To give a narrative, we were shopping around and were hoping to get the best rates, with lender paid MI and to keep closing costs down. When we went to the mortgage companies and Ryan, he claimed (and delivered) to have the lowest rates and lowest closing costs which ended up saving us over $2,500 comparatively. Also, per the seller we had to close in 30 days or less. With Ryan we could have closed in 15 DAYS! Reason why we didn't was the seller dragged their feet with their request for repairs. He was also in constant communication with us every step of the way. He was very comfortable to work with and everything he said he would do, he did.

I can't say enough good things about this guy. For refinancing and when we buy property again this is the guy we will go through.

Hell, he even took us out for a bite and beer at Ballast Point after to get to know us better, who does that anymore?

  Looking to refi my House after 5 years.. I found Ryan/C2 Financial on YELP with 5 Stars. Initially I was going to use an Online website to refi but the feeling of being face to face with a person handling such a big transaction made me more comfortable. Ryan explained the process (idiot proofed it for me) and in 30 days we closed to avoid another month of interest from the BofA... This refi was financial life changer. To this day Ryan still reaches out to me letting me know what the market looks like and where I can save money on my home.   I can't recommend Ryan Gelardi enough. Ryan's knowledge, expertise, attention to detail and patience made the complicated home purchase so much easier. A few years ago, he helped me with my first home purchase taking the time to explain all the nuances of the process along the way. He was always on top of all the details and I never had to worry about something falling through the cracks. He even contacted me several months after the close of my home to let me know I could refinance at a lower rate. I can't tell you how much I appreciated him looking out for my welfare even after our business had concluded.
